This is a short show, but due to impending doom (format HDD), I had to rush the editing on this one.
Everyone else is full of shit.
Who else hates searching endlessly for a game's soundtrack only to find you have to download the 50+ tracks individually?
This has been rather common in my search for game music so that we may bring you a less than shit podcast. But i have noticed a trend amongst video game music sites. 90% of them claim to have high overhead and either require "donations" in order to download the entire OST in one go, or require you get so many referrals before you can do so. A lame attempt at boosting their numbers. Both are scams and let me tell you all why. I pay $110 a year to have this site. With that $110 comes unlimited bandwidth, storage, domain registration for a year, and a few frills for my benefit. Let me say it again, "one YEAR! A YEAR! 365 DAYS! Less than $10 a month. My car uses more gas in a week than this site does in a month, and i drive a Hyundai.
So one of the reasons for the music section is that i am fed up with the bullshit everyone feeds you, telling you it costs thousands of dollars per month to keep up this site. The sob stories are always amusing, "Unfortunately, due to large server expenses we are no longer able to accomodate mass downloads. To be able to use the mass download feature you are now required to give back to the site." What a load of horseshit. RetroRPG will NEVER ask for, nor will we ever accept donations (advertisers are however welcome). The only time we will accept any form of monetary payment from our listeners is if we offer other products and services outside of the podcast (similar to what Sarcastic Gamer does).
Torrents are sometimes good sources, but there is that pesky detail of the seeder.
We offer you the music as a conselation prize since we do not release as often as we should, and as my way of saying "Fuck you!" to the snake oil salesmen of the video game community.
MUSIC!!!ZOMG
The list has been started. Check the top tabs. Please let us know of any links that dont work.
Update on music.
Please be aware that the music to be available will be Original Soundtrack (OST) only. That means music by such bands as The Black Mages, or remixes will not be included. While this music may find its way into the podcast, it cannot be made available publicly due to obvious legal reasons.

Music is coming!
As you know, we take great pride in being able to supply you with song samples from each of our games. What we are currently looking at is to make available the entire soundtrack of each game we play. Barring any legal issues we should have it ready to go in about a month.
