What makes us "Special"
We actually play the games we discuss. Most retro gaming podcasts reminisce about "the good old days" and what they can remember about the games, whereas we play the games and talk about them while the memories are fresh.

Im so glad I discovered this, im fourteen and im in love with retro gaming, I found me some emulators and im in love, thanks for giving me my RPG fix through these retro gaming wonders, im in love with your podcasts and many others, thanks!!!

This intrigues me. While the games being played and discussed are one
Don Amanda and myself grew up on, you did not.
So what turned you on to play games developed (in some cases) before
you were even born?
Why not the standard HALO is the end all be all of video gaming so
common to kids your age?

Speak for yourself. I grew up on Pokemon, but I had never played Final Fantasy (any of them), Lufia 2, etc. I grew up on Donkey Kong 64, Mario Kart 64, Tai Fu (best game on PS1 ever), and the original The Sims games. These days, I play Assassins Creed, Dragon Age, and a lot of other awesome PS3 stuff, but NOT Halo or other FPS games. :p You're always saying I'm so young, but I'm only about half way between you and Steven, here. That's why I'm the “fresh perspective” on some of the games we do, because I haven't done them, and I probably never would've played them if you hadn't recommended them via the podcast. Seems like Steven is in the same boat. :p

I too am 14, and i love retro gaming, only thing different, is i own an nes, snes, 3 genesis(s?) and a nintendo 64
