Contest Details!

This will all be repeated in the podcast for all you who DONT visit the site.

Another guess what game we are playing. BUT! its more than just guess the game. You need to go out and find a particular advertisement that promoted this game.

The ad has two parts. Each containing a quote. Obviously i can’t just leave it at that… Y’all need some sort of clue to get you started.

So! Here it is!

“It doesn’t seem fair does it?”

Obscure? you bet! This narrows your choices down to about half the video games ever produced. *evil grin*

Now, this could be the most impossible contest ever, OR the easiest if you happen to know what this goes to.

Now, how do you win!?

You win by being the first to guess the game, AND delivering two pictures. The first picture is the first half of the ad (that contains the quote i gave), the second half has the rest of the quote and another picture. Now, i have confirmed that the advertisement does exist on the Internets. I have found both parts of the ad. So if you cry to us saying you know the game but cant find the ad… Well we will call you lazy. This aint no charity. We believe people should work for what they earn.
And by the way, the answer has to be exact, otherwise you may lose due to a technicality.

This was a print ad. No video.

Prizes? Dunno yet. It will be however a video game of some sort. As stated before, more than likely from the 16-bit era. If there is a winner, i will contact them through email with a list of games. The winner then chooses 2 games from that list. (I will try to keep the games within comparable value relative to one another. Having Secret of Evermore, Robotrek, Phantasy star, and F-Zero mixed in with FF2, and Link to the Past isnt exactly the best way of doing things as the winner is going to pick Link and FF2, since these are the games with the highest value).

The contest ends when we say it ends. The winner will be announced when we record the first half of the show for this game.

Submit your entries via email. Don’t know the email? Then LISTEN TO THE FUCKING SHOW! (That reminds me… I need to make a non-clickable image)
If someone outside the U.S. wins, we will do everything in our power to make sure it gets to you. But we make no promises due to political instability, customs, and other nonsense that could result in the mail being returned, or worse, lost.

Now, if i can remember this ad about 20 years later (see what i did there?), i damn sure know someone else can put 2 and 2 together.
Honestly, it would not surprise me if i get an email several hours from now with the winning information.

Oh, and don’t beg for clues. Begging for clues will result in 2 prizes turning into 1, or none at all.
